| CNN Community Gardens Networking 6/24 |
Join us for networking with local food growing enthusiasts. The key word is local. The closer we are to a garden the easier it is to access fresh affordable food while building community.
The June networking will focus on planning a CNN community garden tour. We are continuing the effort of the PSU Near Gardens group. This is an opportunity for you to get directly involved with the future of food access and community gardening in your neighborhood. Refreshments provided.

| CNN GardenNET Online Resource |
CNN and NEAR Gardens launched GardenNET
on May 26th, 2010. NEAR Gardens is a group of PSU Community Development students who worked with Central Northeast Neighbors on mapping community gardens and connecting to NE area leaders. GardenNet is an evolving online tool to foster local food access in CNN neighborhoods. Check out the GardenNet forum, map and useful community garden resources just one click away www.cnncoalition.org (top right corner). This is an ongoing project so any new information you care to share with us will help to blossom our local network of community gardens! |
